Fulham victorious in Melbourne rout

Fulham has easily accounted for Melbourne Victory with a 3-0 win at Etihad Stadium this evening.

The Premier League club overcame a quiet opening half hour to eventually dominate proceedings and never looked troubled by the reigning A-League champions.

Andy Johnson opened the scoring for the visitors, converting a 33rd minute penalty after Kevin Muscat brought Johnson down.

Eddie Johnson and Erik Nevland both found the net in the second half to complete the scoring, whilst Archie Thompson came closest for Melbourne, hitting the post on the hour mark.
