Atletico Madrid blame Benfica for Reyes deal collapse

Atletico Madrid chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch insists Benfica are at fault over Jose Antonio Reyes' on-off return to Lisbon.

Pitarch says Benfica have refused to seriously discuss the option of signing Reyes permanently after his successful loan spell last season.

Reyes faces starting preseason training at Atletico this summer.
