Foreign trio help Shanghai to win over Chongqing

A trio of Europeans have helped Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua to a 3-1 victory over Chongqing Lifan.
Bulgarian defender Yanko Valkanov started off the night for Shanghai with a goal I the 35th minute before Chongqing’s Zhang Jian equalised in the 61st.
Two minutes later, Bosnian striker Aleksandar Rodic restored Shanghai’s lead before Belarus forward Vyatcheslav Hleb put the finishing touches on with just over ten minutes remaining.
The win moved Shanghai to fifth whilst Chongqing remained rooted to the foot of the Chinese Super League table.
