Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is being linked with a new bid for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano.
AS says Fabiano's superb Confederations Cup campaign with Brazil has convinced Fergie of his credentials and now will attract a major offer from United.
Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido admits the club is struggling financially and needs a big sale to balance the books.
Fabiano, 28, has less than two years left on his contract and along with United, is also interesting AC Milan after being recommended to the Rossoneri by new Real Madrid signing Kaka.
