clustim is talkin sense, United have paid 263 million in interest charges to service the debt, if that money was available for fransfers we wouldn't have any competition in the transfer market and would be able to spend massive money. I'll be suprised if all the 80 million from Ronaldo will be spent in the transfer market, why don't we go and buy Dzenko from Wolfsburg ? looks as though he'd suit the EPL to me.

Just imagine. If the Glazers had brought money, not debt, or if the increases in revenue had been achieved by by the old management and not implemented by the Glazers for debt servicing, what would be our transfer budget? We would be out bidding Real and without their government guarentee for their transfer borrowings.

Real madrid will face huge financial problems, yes they are crazily great in purchasing players this year, but perez is will face financial troubles, there is no way they're able to earn enough from mechandise or cup prize money to cover the costs...
