Sporting Lisbon defender Velosa now being linked with Villa

Sky Sports is reporting that former Bolton target Miguel Veloso could be on the move from Sporting Lisbon to Aston Villa.

Sky were informed last week that the player was "100 per cent certain" to be playing in the Premier League next season, and that negotiations were in progress with four different clubs.

Manchester City and Arsenal are the other two of those four, but the Midlanders are the strong favourites for his signature.
