Suwon boss Cha praises Nagoya players ahead of ACL match
Suwon Bluewings boss Cha Bum-kun has praised his opposition ahead of tonight’s Asian Champions League meeting with Nagoya Grampus.
The Korean tactician knows the Japanese side has some very smart players and is realistic about the Bluewings chances.
“Nagoya is a team who are full of energy and stamina. They play very aggressively when they don’t have the ball and you cannot relax for a second,” Cha said.
“They have dangerous players in Davi and Yuki Maki and have other good players in important positions, such as Shohei Abe - I think he is a very good player - while Takahiro Masukawa is good in the air and is an excellent defender.
“The goalkeeper Seigo Narazaki has plenty of experience which helps his team, so, overall, I’ve the impression that we cannot beat them easily.
“This is an ACL match, not a K-League game, and it’s a one-off match,” he added.
“That means no-one can predict the result of the game. We have a dream to win the ACL and we’ll do our best to achieve our dream.”
