Bayern Munich's Ribery may wait 12 months for Real Madrid move

Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery is Real Madrid bound, either this summer or next.

France Football insist Ribery will only leave Bayern for Real and a deal could be struck which would see the Frenchman handed a pay-rise for the coming season with the promise from his German club that he will be sold to Madrid next summer for a set fee.

Ribery's closest allies, including wife Wahiba and his agent Alain Miglaccio, want him to move to Madrid ahead of offers from Premiership giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
