Galatasaray chasing Real Madrid striker Van Nistelrooy

Galatasaray are chasing Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Turkey's Milliyet newspaper says Gala directors flew to Holland recently to speak with Van Nistelrooy, who is in the final stretch of recovery from knee surgery.

The former Manchester United forward still has over a year on his current Real deal, but is understood to not be in the plans of president-elect Florentino Perez.
