Southgate at Middlesbrough as long as Gibson wants him

Gareth Southgate says he'll stay at Middlesbrough for as long as chairman Steve Gibson wants him.

The Boro manager said: “For whatever reason, he (Gibson) seems to feel happy with the job I’m doing behind the scenes. He takes into account the finances and everything.

“If he didn’t think that, I’m sure he would have made a change a long time ago. So if I have the support of the chairman that’s all I need.”
