Man U had a dodgy patch for a couple of games after not conceding a goal in 3 months. it happens to all. before we had a wobbler barca did as well. playing rubbish and shipping goals for a few games before pulling through it. As for selling Pique for just 7m - we took him from you for nothing anyway so it is all profit from our side and he had a chance to get into the first team at barca with the frenchman retiring but not so much opportunity at Man U with Rio and Vidic the best centre back pairing in the world. Plus Evra is better than Abidal. You have Alves now but Rafa is shaping up nicely for a kid and him and his brother will be great. In midfield you have some talent there with Xavi and Iniesta. But I am happy enough with Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson, Fletcher, Park, Scholes and Giggs as options available. Up front yeah you have Messi, Henry and Eto'o who have had a great season but we have Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov and Tevez and I would be very happy if you underestimate them as they will punish you. Last season Rooney, ronaldo and tevez scored over 80 goals between them so not so much difference. I saw your former hero Koeman talking about how brilliant rooney is. Intelligent, skilfull, powerful, quick and with a will to win like Roy Keane. Aside from the usual Messi & ronaldo love in anyone in spain who underestimates Rooney is pretty stupid. then again most of you lot believe the garbage that Marca/As and Sport publish everyday. Those papers make the Sun and Mirror look like a fountain of truth and wisdom
Barca could not manage a shot on target nd won cuz of the ref and also cuz chelsea became satisfied with 1 goal and were laid back.What is this talk that football loved football and barca deservin 2 win . the point is, I enjoy Barca's style of play more than Chelsea's. Therefore, I would prefer a Barca-Man U game to a Chelsea-Man U game. Chelsea is boring. As far as MU vs. Barca goes, both teams are great. Man U is probably the best team in the world but this season they have shown that they can be flaky and fall apart. Barca on the other hand is riding high tide.
