Real Madrid defender Cannavaro explains Man City rejection

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has revealed he's rejected an offer from Manchester City.

“I told my agent to find a solution (with former club Juventus),” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I didn’t want to have start from scratch again – not in a World Cup year.

“That’s why I rejected offers from Bayern Munich and Manchester City.”
