Brown bans Windass from Hull for remainder of season
Hull City boss Phil Brown has BANNED veteran striker Dean Windass from the club for the remainder of the season.
He was hauled into Brown's office and told he was no longer wanted at the top flight club, says the Daily Mail.
Windass returned to the Tigers in March from a miserable loan spell with Oldham but has not featured in Brown's side due to regulations regarding loan deals.
He has been training and playing with the reserves and was hoping to secure a coaching role at the club during the close season.
But this looks unlikely while Brown remains in charge after he told his troubled forward to stay away from the training ground.
Windass, who is training at home on his own, is now expected to thrash out a settlement figure on the remaining months of his £10,000-a-week deal.
