Blackburn Rovers are keen on striker Edin Dzeko.
The VfL Wolfsburg forward has already turned down an offer from Portsmouth, but Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is now keen after being priced out of a deal for Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko.
Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath has urged Dzeko to forget a move to England this month.
