Portsmouth track Milan star Vieira
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 01/18/2009 - 16:43
Portsmouth boss Tony Adams wants ex-Arsenal team-mate Patrick Vieira to quit Inter Milan and move to Fratton Park, claims the Daily Star.
The 32 year old has almost 18 months to run on his contract with Jose Mourinho’s outfit.
But Adams hopes Mourinho will allow Vieira to go on loan until the end of the season – or release the France midfielder altogether on a free transfer to reduce Inter’s wage bill.
