Portsmouth boss Adams wants "six or seven" new signings

Portsmouth boss Tony Adams admits he'd like up to seven new signings this month.

"It may be six or seven or it may be one or two," he told Sky Sports. "I need some reinforcements.

"I think it is obvious which areas. I've got no midfield players at the club, only (Arnold) Mvuemba who is a kid.

"We've let a centre-forward go to Tottenham. We have David Nugent and Kanu but we'd like four.

"It would be great if we could get another one in that department."
