Tottenham launching bid for Wigan's Palacios

Tottenham are launching a £10 million bid for Wigan Athletic midfielder Wilson Palacios.
The People says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had already received glowing reports before seeing Palacios in action in the FA Cup tie between the sides last weekend.
Spurs have been making inquiries about Palacios but will find Bruce in no mood to trade unless the offer is massive.
Redknapp knows he could raise cash by selling a midfielder, with former skipper Jermaine Jenas possibly on his way and David Bentley available at the right price.
