Kenny Deuchar battling for Real Salt Lake stay

Scottish striker Kenny Deuchar could be on his way from Real Salt Lake.
Deuchar, formerly of Gretna in the Scottish Premier League, still has a year remaining on the deal that brought him to RSL last year, but GM Garth Lagerwey said a new league rule would allow the team to buy out his contract and effectively release him.
"I'm not saying we're going to do that," Lagerwey said, but he acknowledged that it's a possibility depending "one, who we sign, and how much money we spend on those players."
