Udinese striker Quagliarella on way to Fiorentina for Pazzini

Udinese are close to winning the race for Fiorentina striker Giampaolo Pazzini.

Sportmediaset says Udinese are in advanced talks with Fiorentina over a swap for Pazzini, which would see Fabio Quagliarella move to Florence.

Florence sources say the swap has already been verbally agreed between the two clubs and now the two players will consider their options.

Bologna are set to be left out of the cold, having made an £8 million offer for Pazzini last week.
