Middlesbrough in Palace talks over Watson

Middlesbrough have moved for Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson.
The Evening Gazette says Boro are one of two Premier League clubs that have inquired about the 23-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer.
Palace will take around £1m for the Londoner, considering he will be 24 in July and can leave Selhurst Park for nothing in the summer.
It’s wise for Boro to have potential targets in the bag should Portsmouth come in with a massive offer for Gary O’Neil this month, and Watson is one of the players on Boro’s list.
