Recreativo seek loan talks for Udinese defender Zapata

Recreativo Huelva are planning an ambitious bid for Udinese defender Cristian Zapata.

Zapata's representatives insist Udinese will not sell the young Colombia international, but a loan deal could be set up.

The defender kicked off the season injured and has failed to win back his place in coach Pasquale Marino's team since returning to full fitness.

Villarreal are also keen, but Recre have the inside-running as they're prepared to take Zapata only on a straight loan.
