Defoe not last signing for Tottenham

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp still has money to spend in the transfer window despite Jermain Defoe's £15million return to White Hart Lane from Portsmouth.

Redknapp has already stated he needs "three or four players" to bolster his squad for the second half of the season.

Redknapp feels he needs to strengthen his squad in the long term.

"It's pretty obvious that we need to buy," Redknapp said. "It's a small squad, and it's hard to find people just to come in."
