Chelsea, Man City encouraged to move for Inter Milan's Adriano

Chelsea and Manchester City are being linked with Inter Milan striker Adriano.

Inter are keen to offload Adriano, who has just been fined £150,000 for returning back to Italy late from a Christmas break.

Jose Mourinho has lost patience with his Brazilian and Inter hope City will renew interest in a striker that the English side coveted in the last January transfer window.

Adriano's girlfriend last month claimed Chelsea were in talks to sign the 26-year-old, while Brazilian side Flamengo would also be interested in taking him on loan.

Inter are keen to discuss a swap deal with City involving Jo.
