O'Hara admits Spurs seeking FA Cup pick-me-up

Jamie O'Hara says Tottenham are seeking a pick-me-up against FA Cup opponents Wigan Athletic.

"The results have gone against us and naturally the lads are all disappointed," O'Hara told Tottenham's website. "We have to pick ourselves up, get back to basics and try to get results again. We've had a bit of bad luck along the way but that's how it goes.

"It's disappointing because we've picked up some good results but we've not really pushed on. We're still in the pack and we just need a couple of results to go our way.

"We've now got the FA Cup and the Carling Cup, so it's a big couple of weeks for us.

"It will be tough against Wigan, they are doing very well but we've got to go out there and get a result. We don't want to go out in the third round.

"We're at home in front of 36,000 fans, night games are always special at the Lane and we are looking forward to it. We have to be confident.

"Getting points on the board is the most important thing and we can't take our eyes off that, that's our priority, but it would be nice to have a good run in the FA Cup because it gives the club that positive feeling. All cup competitions are big for this club."
