Ancelotti banks on improved AC Milan defence to boost title bid

Carlo Ancelotti believes an improved defence can lead to AC Milan challenging Inter Milan and Juventus for the Serie A title.

Speaking from Dubai, where AC Milan is taking part in an exhibition tour, Ancelotti said: “In the second part of the season we will have to improve our fitness as well as the level of our game, especially in defence.

“We still believe in the Scudetto and we are sure we can reach the Nerazzurri.”
