Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia is being linked with Sam Allardyce's backroom team at Blackburn Rovers.
The Daily Star Sunday says Allardyce is looking to make another coaching appointment at Blackburn after dispensing with Paul Ince’s assistants – Ray Mathias and Archie Knox.
Sbragia, who also worked under Big Sam at Bolton, is a possible candidate.
But Sbragia will stay at the Stadium of Light if he lands a senior role there.
