Tottenham stand-in skipper Michael Dawson has played down an incident with Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo during Saturday's 0-0 draw.
Dawson's performance at centre-back helped keep out United, and the defender played down an incident where Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to aim a kick at him.
"I made a tackle and was running off so I don't know what happened," he said.
"It was petulance," said BBC pundit Alan Shearer. "We've seen it from him once or twice before and if Dawson went down he could have been in trouble."
