Real Madrid boss Ramos: We could've won
Real Madrid boss Juande Ramos insists he saw a lot of positives from last night's 2-0 defeat at Barcelona.
Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi struck for Barca in a game which struggled to light the blue touch paper.
But Ramos insisted at the final whistle: "It was a game with both teams working hard. Barca had the territorial domination, but the clear chances were ours.
"We've done what we could. We had significant injuries and those who were left have played to perfection. We had chances to win.
"I leave the Nou Camp happy, we fought with pride and generosity. We had our chances and football is about goals. They have seized their opportunities and have scored two from the few chances they had."
On their 12 point gap with Barca, Ramos added: "There is a big difference, but much time remains. We will have to wait for the second round, when the Champions League restarts, to see if some other teams go up and down."
