Mexes not leaving Roma
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Thu, 12/04/2008 - 01:34
AS Roma defender Philippe Mexes has quashed rumours that he may be leaving the capital city club.
Reports have linked the Frenchman with a move to Milan if Roma does not qualify for next season’s Champions League but it is only gossip according to Mexes.
“I won't be leaving Roma,” Mexes said in Il Messaggero.
“Even if we don't get into the Champions League, it is enough for me to be in Serie A with a Giallorossi shirt.
“If the club decide to sell me then we will have to see, but I have so much love for Roma.”
