Man Utd won't reward Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo with pay-hike

Manchester United won't consider opening new contract talks with Cristiano Ronaldo, despite his Ballon d'Or crown.
The Daily Mail says the Portugal winger’s desire to open talks about a new £150,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford continues not to be acknowledged by the European and Premier League champions.
It is understood that United will stick to their stance of non-negotiation into the new year and, in all likelihood, through next summer and beyond.
While United recognise Ronaldo’s remarkable contribution to their recent successes, chief executive David Gill and owner Malcolm Glazer believe that the player’s current £120,000-a-week deal - which extends to 2012 - is sufficient.
