Barcelona coach Guardiola delighted with two-goal Messi
Lionel Messi struck a late brace to help Barcelona settle a 3-0 win at Sevilla last night.
Samuel Eto'o had Barca 1-0 ahead midway through the first-half before Messi's double. Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano was sent-off on 85 minutes after a clash with Sergio Busquets.
Afterwards, Barca coach Pep Guardiola said: "This victory is just one more step forward, because it is November 30 and there is no champion. There are plenty of games to play.
"Sevilla did not disappoint me. In the first-half we were disoriented, but in the second drove the ball well and it was different.
"I would have liked a more complete game in the first-half, but I'm very pleased. Messi? What can I say! He's a different player. What I want is for him to be happy and enjoy playing."
