Inverness winger Wilson eyes new deal
Veteran Inverness winger Barry Wilson wants negotiations to start before the New Year over his long term future.
The 36-year-old told BBC Sport: "Hopefully, within the next week or two, I'll be sitting down with the manager about whether we are going to extend it and what is the best thing to do for myself and, most importantly, the best thing for the club."
"I was quite happy with the way I played," he said. "The first half against Hearts was pretty good.
"The fact that I am 36 obviously does not help. But, being out for so long, any player to come in after no starts for the first two or three months was going to find it difficult.
"I was no different. After an hour, the lack of match sharpness maybe told and the manager decided to take me off.
"But I am ready for any role the manager sees fit just now and will just try to keep working hard and show that I can still do it."
