Blackburn boss Ince ponders Villanueva, Ooijer futures
Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince admits he is facing a big decision over the futures of Andre Ooijer and Carlos Villanueva.
Villanueva is halfway through a season-long loan spell from Chilean club Audax Italiano, while veteran Dutch defender Andre Ooijer has also spoken of his desire to return to his homeland.
"We want to keep improving the side. I'll sit down with the chairman and we'll talk about the situation with players coming and going," said the former Manchester United midfielder.
"With Villanueva we know we have to make a decision by the end of December.
"It's been hard for him. He is a young lad and needs time to settle in but because we haven't started the season so well it is hard to throw him into that situation.
"It would have been nice to have been mid-table and be able to have a look at him.
"As for Andre he has been fantastic and he is the type of person you need at the club. He has seen it all before and he is much needed.
"I don't believe all the rubbish that is written. Unless he knocks on my door - which he hasn't done - I'm happy for him to be here."
