Messi IS the best, but Ronaldo WAS the 1st, 2nd, n 3rd best in the last season. As far as I know, the awards are given for the achievements and performance of the previous season. Messi couldn't perform last season, but Ronaldo did. So, Ronaldo should win all. end of story.
I think we should all wait till next month when ron get back to old traford presenting his world footballer of the year award to the fans.ron is a complete footballer than messi.check out that wonderfull header against roma last season
shows how ggod messi is that he only has one foot but is very predictable but still manages to glide past defenders. in general play messi is the much better player. He is also much more humble and is a better team player
watch the spanish league every week and u ll know why messi is better and his right foot is just as strong if not stronger than ronaldo s left....
I dont think i want to go into the arguement about is better between CR7 and Messi. From my own point odf view, last season was CR7's season. The stats are there to show,i think he deserves the award.
A
Goooa..l and that is (*Ronaldo*)... He does everything... wat more do u want from him....Oh Wat A mess..... U watched that la liga game... after sheer briallance.. then guess what happened...he spits and spits.... ronaldo your the best.
c.ronaldo the best number 1
Nothing between 'em. I rate Lionel Messi higher.

u all i think are just been sentimental, they are both great players with different ways of impressing their fans, messi might be better in dribbles but not in freekicks and heading ball or great feets, and all these qualities make u a great player. I think on messi's day he is better than ronaldo, but no player in this world did what ronaldo did last season, so i think all individual award for the year should go to him who knows messi could step up his game as ronaldo did after finishing third last year and may be win next year, he is a great great player, but for last season ronaldo is simply the best.
