Valencia striker Fernando Morientes has ducked questions over his future.
The former Real Madrid and Liverpool striker is inside the final 12 months of his existing deal and said: "I'm focused on the day to day. Much has been said about this and it is better to look at the present. Whatever it is, whatever comes will be good and hopefully by the end of the season I can say I've done my best and we'll see what that happens.
"Just like other years I have had doubts about my future, but I now know that what will happen will be good, no matter what."
