Rangers winger Beasley ponders USA future
Rangers' USA winger DaMarcus Beasley admits his heavy travel schedule has him weighing up his international future.
Beasley has shaken off the effects of a marathon bout of travelling with the U.S. national team prior to last weekend's victory over Kilmarnock.
Hauled from the pitch at half-time, the winger could do little right.
He admitted: "They put me in the starting line-up but my legs were heavy and I couldn't get going. I had a little problem with my groin coming back from the States but that's not an excuse.
"I felt OK to play but the field was heavy and I couldn't get going, so we thought it was best I played the half, then got this week under my belt.
"I can see where Celtic's Shunsuke Nakamura is coming from when he talks about the travel difficulties.
"American players like Brad Friedel finished their international career while they were still in Europe. As you get older, it wears more on your body."
