New Atletico Madrid signing Ever Banega is desperate to "erase" the memories he has of last season's time at Valencia.
"Right now, Valencia is erased from my mind," said the Argentine midfielder. "I am with Atletico Madrid and I want to do things right from the start.
"You are going to find a new Ever Banega, different from the one that played for Valencia. My way of thinking changed with everything that happened there, I come here to work and to earn a position.
"I've already had one year in Spain, I know the football and will begin a new chapter here."
