Agent insists no Sevilla agreement for Mallorca's Navarro

The agent of Real Mallorca defender Fernando Navarro insists no deal has been agreed with Sevilla.

Reports in Spain on Friday suggested the 25-year-old had been signed as a replacement for right-back Dani Alves, who joined Barcelona earlier in the week.

However Navarro's agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, claims that while talks are in progress his client is not a Sevilla player yet.

"The matter of the player is not fully closed," Orobitg told AS.

"I don't know if Sevilla and Mallorca have agreed terms. I don't know if this will be sorted out this weekend.

"What's for sure is that there is an offer, but they (Mallorca) have to reply.

"In principle, there are some differences, but the deal is not closed because there is no consent (from Mallorca) nor a definitive agreement with the player."
