italy was the best league because of the defenders.maldini, baresi, costacurta, tassoti.i mean come on, those guys were invincible at the back

Nurse the youth and build new stadiums in the country. Only Juventus' new stadium is worth it.

Tbh Inter being completely foreigners is just them going back to their roots technically :p Thats why they were founded to contrast the racist practices of AC Milan

Inter is almost completely foreigner, and Milan is now going that way too. In a few years, Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambro will be gone. Only leaving so so players like Antonini, Bonera, and Abate. (excluding GK) Where are Albertazzi, De Gennaro, Zigoni, Paloschi, Verdi, Beretta, Darmian, Legati, etc.. Sad, very sad.

Italy was the best league in the world in the 80s and 90s because it would only bring in 3 or 4 non Italian players per team. So you would have only the very elite players in the Serie A such as - Gullit, Van Basten, Richardt at Ac MIlan - Klinsmann, Bremer, Mathaus at Inter etc etc...
Having only 3 non Italians in teh long run helped the Italian national team.
Today too many average non Italians play in Serie A ...too many Bidoni.

Look what the Premiership has done to the England team..very few youngsters are able to step up to first 11 football. Scotland is already finsihed as a powerhouse and is like Hungary...living on old glory!!!
