Fernando Llorente!!
Well although they have lost a couple of top players i must admit the squad on a whole is stronger taking into account Aquilani was unable to offer anything last season (should have kept him) the possible signings of Lassana Diarra and Ruiz would make for an excellent campaign.
Meireles is incredibly overrated and unproven out side of a very weak portugal league and he has not done much for his national team either...konchesky is crap....
5:14 Meireles is a quality player. Poulsen is a second rate player. And konchesky isn't that bad to b a 5th rate player. He's betta than insua. An he gets among the goals and his a decent cross on him don't judge meireles an konchesky just yet
Liverpool have done okay but Roy and everyone else knew before he had arrived a backup for Torres was a priority he has had months not long left and nothing.
A failure to bring in a quality back up is a failure in the market and may lead to Torres leaving that would be unfortunate.
On a whole not a bad effort though Konchesky was a poor signing as was Aurelio, Mereiles was a great signing Poulsen average and the rest were virtually Rafas targets which were good signings.
If LFC have no money to spend on top quality players and our new manager is looking for players who he thinks are good players at a bargain prices, its not his fault. Once the Yanks stop being greedy and sell the club to a person who is able to put in money in to the club and make it come to the standards of Chelsea, Man City and Manchester United then we can complain if the manager brings in second grade players. Also give him time as this is his first tranfer window while being in charge of LFC
poulsen and Meireles are 2nd rate, Paul Konchesky 5th rate hodgenson has no idea his signings are worse than those of the great FAT BLUNDER!
HE HAS ADDED NO QUALITY WHAT SO EVER WHEN THE FAT SPANISH WAITER LEFT WE EXPECTED A DECENT MANAGER !...our poor start doesnt look likely to improve much under roy .....
