Wolves skipper Henry mocks moaner Barton

So because Henry mainly aimed at Barton, he's branded a ***** for trying to wind him up? Certainly not! It was one of, if not, the smartest thing to do, especially considering how quickly he throws his dolly out the pram. Fair play for him not rising to the bait, but still, he did whinge at a few people about it.

And another thing for the people who say Henry is a thug, and doesn't deserve to play....Seriously, *****. He showed nothing but passion during Saturday's game, unlike most other captains who simply wear the armband for show!

Couldn't have said it any better myself tbh...
I was very impressed with Joey Barton and think he may have turned a corner recently in becoming a better person as well as player like he and most of the Newcastle squad have reported... Although he still has a lot to do to prove that!

No, its not being upset with the tackles at all...
Its more being "annoyed" (completely incorrect use of speech marks like you used for "upset") that Henry has came out and moaned about Barton 'moaning'. I'm all for hard legal tackles in the game and believe that we don't see enough of them nowadays. However, I think that Henry should be applauding Barton to be honest because he got immediately back up after every tackle and got on with the game (which many foreign players wouldn't). Henry's main aim in that game was to try and get Barton wound up and sent off for a retaliation and after the game realising that Barton actually got the better of him in the game (by playing actual football) he released this immature statement to try to fool people into thinking Barton moans about hard tackles and that he in fact bettered Barton in the game.

Lmao, looks like some people are a tad "upset" with the treatment Henry gave the thug.

I thought everyone knew about Barton being arrested, and fighting with his own team-mates, and even burning a youth-team player with a cigar....To be honest, I think he deserved a few more crunching tackles than what he got!

I wonder what Henrys attitude would have been like if Barton had put those tackles in on one of the wolves thugs. Henry might not be in the fore front of names when you think of hard players but make no mistake he is no more than a disgraceful lack of talent who doesnt deserve a captains armband. Mick McCarthy.....sunderland reject enough said about that crooked nose twat.

Henry seems well up himself...
If it was Barton putting them tackles in on him then the ref would have sent Barton straight off (as shown when Barton put one hard tackle in and got booked immediately). I was impressed with the way Joey kept getting straight back up and didn't react like he would have a few years ago. And as for 'moaning' to Mick McCarthy at the end I think he was having more of a joke with him than anything, probably saying along the lines of "Did you tell your players to do that?"

Henry is a ****

Henry the Hoover has more skill than Karl Henry.

Do we really need to have loonies like him in the premiership? What's going through the minds of the managers who bring scumbags like him into the their teams?

Couldn't agree more with you's.
I'm not Bartons biggest fan but Barton is definitely a lot more than just a 'bruiser'.
He can actually make things happen, score goals and tackle as well. Which he proved in Newcastle's 6-0 win.
Karl Henry, on the other hand, is a very 2 dimensional player.
He would have almost certainly have been sent off if he tried that on any other player... only for the fact that Barton didn't milk the tackles and writhe around on the ground which kept Henry on the pitch. So he should be grateful more players aren't like Barton than what we usually see.
He's average on the ball and does his best work without it and thought he was some sort of god send when he went around recklessly tackling Barton.
One of the last tackles he made was ridiculous. He ended up running and jumping and getting 2 legs around Bartons waist. Completely missed the ball and looked similar to the De Jong/Alonso horror tackle.

Everyone appreciates good hard tackles ... But when it is a vendetta to try and snap someone's leg you just become a *****...

Well I have seen some of the actions on Barton. It almost looked liked Wolves vs Barton. Some still see him as the player from 2-3 years ago he has changed since then. He showed some good performances on the pitch. He is nearing that form again that earned him a call-up for the national squad a few years ago. If henry is trying to make a point here then he is not worthy of the captaincy.
