I have to agree with Barca Fan, despite his unnecessarily expletive-laden opening line. Ibra's comments sound pretty much like sour grapes. I suspect he was bought (since they couldn't get Villa at the time) to give Barca a plan B, an aerial option, in the face of overtly physical sides like Chelski and Internazi. But a goal-hanger like Ibra, despite his wonderful ball-skills, was never going to adapt to the Barca system and work ethic. His predecessor Eto'o probably did more kilometers per match than Dani Alves, constantly tracking back to retrieve the ball and link up with Xaviniesta, interchanging at will with Henry and Messi, and providing the fluency that is the hallmark of this unparalleled side. Suddenly with Ibra, Barca's game slowed up in the last third, halting the virtuosic fluidity. Mr Piggybank gave him plenty of games/chances to adapt: he showed signs at times of "getting it", and formed an acute understanding with Messi. 21 goals, and many of them important, is not a bad return, but, with Pep, the team comes first and too often Ibra (despite being a fan's favourite) showed himself to be not a team player. It is interesting that he claims not to have spoken with Pep since March: it was at the beginning of March that Ibra lost his first team place (I know, I know, he had been injured and was suffering a loss of form/crisis of confidence), and with Pedro/Bojan playing regularly, Barca began to show the kind of form which has made them the model for/envy of the world. He had had seven months to integrate, had failed and Pep simply gave up on him. Mr Piggybank is not a hands-on coach (ask the other players), who mollycoddles; he treats his squad like responsible adults whose duty is to the greater good of Barca. If Ibra couldn't adapt, then I believe that is Ibra's problem and not Pep's. I would have wished him well at Milan, but his parting shot is unprofessional and undignified; contrast that with the gracious departure of Ronaldinho, who was consequently received with warmth upon his recent return to the Camp Nou. I suspect that, in the future, Ibra will now be as welcome there as the Translator.
Ibra, you are not quality to mock Pep Guardiola! You are a total crap!! a waste of money! With or without your presence, it has no affect to Barca because even Perdo is better than you! You should be ashamed of your childish act!
Actually Guardiola should have swap him for Robinho!!
You want to mock him? Mock the 40+ mil he lost Barca. Sign him up for a business class.
***** you ibra, i like you but you talking ship to Pep, well you can go ***** yourself. Do you understand why Pep did not use you is because you suck, you are slow and laizy, you were given so many opportunities to score and in the end you could not score much, you did not live up to the price tag paid for you and the 12m euros a year you earn. Even the youth player Pedro played better than you and scored more goals.
U can go 2 hell...ibra
