No Blackburn offer for Bolton’s Davies

Despite recent speculation suggesting otherwise, Bolton have not received an offer from Blackburn in regards to striker Kevin Davies.

Reports on Sunday indicating the Rovers were set to swoop on Davies have been cooled by the Trotters who insist that Davies is not for sale.

Last season, Davies ended up as captain of the club and was the season’s leading goal scorer, prompting Bolton to label him as off limits.
