Newcastle, Sunderland chasing West Brom playmaker Dorrans

West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans is a target for Northeast rivals Sunderland and Newcastle United.

The Sunday Mirror says both Toon boss Chris Houghton and his Black Cats counterpart have been impressed by the young Scottish international since his move from Livingston to the Hawthorns in 2008.

But the North-East duo will face stiff competition, with ­Manchester City checking out the 22-year-old against Scunthorpe ­recently.
