Newcastle owner revisits naming rights for St James’ Park

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has upset the Toon Army by reviving plans to sell off the naming rights of St James' Park, reports .

Part of the scheme involves erecting giant advertising hoardings which would dominate the skyline at the stadium which would require planning permission from Newcastle Council.

Fans would still call it St James, get the money and spend it well!, its differnent for arsenal since no one got use to saying Ashburton Grove before Emirates came in now that will always be emirates....
