New West Ham boss Grant visits training ground
Avram Grant has visited West Ham's Chadwell Heath training ground for the first time since he was appointed as Gianfranco Zola's successor.
The former Portsmouth boss will spend the next three weeks preparing for the start of pre-season and scouring the globe for potential transfer targets.
Grant said: "I can't wait for July because I like to work on the pitch. The next two or three weeks is important because we can sign players, take care of the staff and get everything in place for the start of training."
Grant, who took Chelsea to the Champions League final in 2008, vowed to please the fans by bringing an attractive brand of football to the club next year.
"We will play attacking football but attack with intelligence and balance. This is what the fans expect and how we want to develop," said the 55 year old.
