Nani hopes he has won over Man Utd doubters
Nani hopes he is now winning over Manchester United fans.
The Portuguese winger admits he fuelled the expectations of supporters by claiming he was the man to fill Cristiano Ronaldo’s boots following his £80m departure from United to Real Madrid in the summer.
Nani’s future looked uncertain when he started the season poorly, but he said: “I think the fans are now starting to see I can be important to this team.
“When Ronaldo left they thought I would step in to take his place but we are talking about the best player in the world.
“No one can replace Ronaldo. There was a lot of pressure and when I injured my shoulder early in the season it was clear my form was not the best.
“Since I have come back into the team I am showing that when my form is good I can keep my place.”

Sorry, not won me over or anywhere near! I find him frustrating, loses the ball far to easily, is selfish and when he DOES cross, his delivery is woeful! Lets be honest, what he has scored have been flukes in the main!!
I'd still sell him first chance I had and get a decent winger in!
don't get too cocky kid! no one ever question your talent, just your consistency. now if you don't maintain that form, the doubts will return ...
