Muscat confident Melbourne Victory will turn up for full 90

Melbourne Victory captain Kevin Muscat is confident his side will perform for a full 90 minutes when they take on league leaders Adelaide United this weekend.

The Victory meet the Reds at Etihad Stadium tomorrow night, knowing they have beaten them the last nine times the two clubs have met.

Following a 2-1 loss to Brisbane Roar last weekend, the Victory go into the clash under a form query but Muscat is convinced that they only played in fits and spurts last time out.

“Albeit a bad result for us (against the Roar) but we played some really decent stuff," Muscat said.

"We're relatively confident if we turn up for a full 90 minutes rather than 45 to 60 minutes we'll do quite well."

Thai defender Surat Sukha is expected to return following a back injury whilst young striker Mate Dugandzic is likely to return to the subs bench.
