Mourinho interested in Liverpool job - but ....

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho isn't interested in the Liverpool job - unless changes are made.

The News of the World says Mourinho will only consider becoming the next Liverpool manager if Tom Hicks and George Gillett are stripped of power.

The Inter Milan boss is very interested in the chance to replace Rafa Benitez this summer.

But Mourinho has no intention of joining a club with a divided boardroom under the American co-owners.

Mourinho has told associates the prospect of reviving the Merseysiders does appeal, but he would need to be sure he would have the resources to succeed. Liverpool will sound out Mourinho as they consider a change of management this summer.

But Manchester City and Real Madrid are also interested in the ex-Chelsea boss.

hope he is coming to liverpool..hope the two tycoon was out of liverpool management...

I personally think had mourinho had the resources benitez has had liverpool would be a much stronger squad, when i think of ALL the transfers under benitez i struggle to find more then 5 that have been good enough to play in the premier league let alone a club of liverpools stature, benitez has had his time and must now go, people comment that benitez has had no more but he has... even if mourinho doesnt do the job some people think he would he should at least be given the chance if he wants it, i am a liverpool fan and i for one believe he would be better for the club then rafa simply because mourinho has won the title regardless of money spent and knows how to win it, benitez hasnt and even with all the money in the world i dont personally think he would.
