More Arsenal misery as Walcott ruled out for six weeks
Arsenal's injury concerns mount with the news that Theo Walcott has been sidelined for up to six weeks.
The 21-year-old picked up an ankle problem while on England duty in their 3-1 win over Switzerland in Basel on Tuesday night.
The knock was sustained in the build-up to England's first goal, and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger says a scan revealed the extent of the damage.
"The tackle looked quite bad," Wenger told Arsenal's official website.
"When you see how it turned his ankle I thought it would be three or four days or it would be four to six weeks. Unfortunately it will be four to six weeks.
"We had some good news about the scan because at some stage we were scared it could be worse.
"But overall it is a question of patience and rehabilitation."

So the injury merry-go-round had just started for Arsenal. Their two most important strikers are already injured and Mr. Wenger is still sitting pretty probably thinking it just a few weeks. Before this two strikers recovered more will follow and Wenger will be holding a list of medical certificates thus the first half of the BPL will end with Arsenal not making any headway nor waves. Mr. Wenger should know very intimately well his weakest link is the goal keeping department but by his own excuses he could not signed any goalkeeper before the deadline. That's what he said but the world knows it is not the because there weren't any good enough goalkeepers but rather Mr. Wenger would not part with the money. Every clubs in the BPL managed to sign players and it because they are willing to pay but it is not the case for Arsenal. Mr. Wenger want them if possible on free transfers or rock bottom prices and he couldn't even afford Rafael Vander Vaart ? Spurs got a wonderful buy and this will haunt Mr. Wenger for the rest of 2010. Probably Mr. Wenger felt that his players will never be seriously injured again but I say history will certainly repeat itself and I predict Fabregas will get crocked because he is the one who cannot commit his heart and soul into the Arsenal games. His heart is still somewhere in Spain. Arsenal will not win the BPL thats for sure and she will struggle for the top 4 placings. Wenger should stop buying anymore players, start selling away his best players and keep all the profits for purchase of young outstanding players. Thats what Mr. Wenger is very very good at, players trading ! With his present policies Arsenal will NEVER win the BPL ever again !
2 weeks my ass capello you four eyed retard.
